John Kerner is a screenwriter, filmmaker, producer, actor and the CEO of Uncuffed Productions, LP.

A native New Jerseyan, John grew up in Lyndhurst, NJ and is a retired Detective/Lieutenant of the Lyndhurst Police Department. 

 

He has written three feature length screenplays, a TV pilot, and over a dozen short screenplays. John has also made five short films, which he wrote, directed, and produced, and is currently working on his next film, a comedy set to shoot in the Fall (2024). 

 

John's films have earned him many “Best Screenplay” and “Best Short Film” awards at film festivals around the world.
